We were commissioned to produce a character animation for the RCL Yum Yum Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter in-cinema launch.  The brief was to create a 20-second animation where a cute adventure-seeking chocolate drop 'die-hard' breaks into the Yum Yum factory yet despite facing near-death consequences, he fulfills his objective and dives into a vat of creamy peanut butter where his chocolatey dreaminess blends beautifully with the golden goodness of RCL's family favourite.

The RCL Yum Yum Chocolate Dreams launch began its campaign on social media with a  'teaser' animation promo to gain public interest.   In this clip, 'Choc Norris' as we have come to know him at Mesh Animation, peers curiously down the factory passage to where he knows his beloved peanut butter is being made.

Adhering to the client's brief, we were asked to create a 'Willy Wonker / Wallace & Gromit' feel for the peanut butter factory environment.  Knowing the requirements for this specific project,  we asked good friend Grant Regan, a fantastic concept artist based in Melbourne, Australia who created the perfect look & feel for our whimsical, fun setting for Choc's illustrious dare-devil antics. His vision did not disappoint and hence, Choc's adventure began..

The 20-second animation was launched in cinema in February 2020 followed by several social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.  We were also asked to produce four GIF animations for social reach as well as a peanut butter Typography which was used for Point of Sale promo's within the retail sector.
